Camp. A straight two weeks. One camp after another, with a two days interval. That was so MARVELOUS!!!
I'm now drained. Energy-less. Lack of sleep. Whole body aching. Oh my!!
CO Camp was fun though I was helping out in the comitee and didn't really get to play games. But overall, it was very fun. Only maybe the second day did not go quite well, due to some last minute changes.
P6 Overnighter was tiring. Well, it would have been more fun for me if only I had not have CO camp just two days before. I would say that maybe because of CO camp that made me feel sleepy and tired and lack of energy during P6 Overnighter. But with God's grace, I survived this two camps.
The first day was more of ice-breakers and worship. Second day was the one that was a bit too much for a day. We had a so-called physical training session in the morning. Then breakfast and worship. And comes the mini amazing race in church. Played some disgusting games for 2 and 1/2 hours and got ourselves all messed up. The running about was enough for the day actually, but who knows that the comm members still wanted more fun during the night. And so we ended the day with a night walk(some say it's trust walk) after three hours of mass games. By the time the blinded walk ended, it was already 11 over. Then the washing up resulted us sleeping only at 12 over near 1. After so much on day two and the late sleep, we still had to rise and shine 6 and gather at 6.45. Many overslept, but not me. Then the last day began with some cleaning up of the church. Then worship time and later an out of church amazing race, covering Potong Pasir, Macpherson, Aljunid and Joo Seng. No transport allowed. Only by number 11. No money on hands, but three balloons filled with water(over 1 Kg). Walked and walked and finally settled down at a coffeeshop for lunch(as one station). Suprised, a balloon that I was holding burst and I was soaked. So embarassing...everyone all looking. After lunch, before we head off to another station, another balloon burst. This time, two boys got wet, cause they were passing the balloon. Then went off to two other stations till we finally got lost. Had spent a near 1 hour walking, only to realise there's no such station. And got a ride from Pastor Koh to the correct station. In the end, we did not complete all the stations because the game was ruined. And so, we wasted our time for this out of church amazing race. It was dissapointing, but nevertheless a good exercise.
I've learnt much stuff about leadership in these two camps. Good job!
Was leader of my group during P6 Overnighter. CO Camp, a taste of being part of comitee.
I have so much more to write. But if I throw them all in here, it would be crazily long.
