The Big Walk day finally arrived... I don't know to say if this walk was long or short. Don't know to say if this day was a great or bad day.
Jumping off the bed at 6 in the morning, I got ready for the Big Walk. Headed to Suntec with empty stomach. Wanted to get breakfast from macs, but the queue was way too long for anyone to wait. So we went to starbucks instead and got ourselves a banana muffin(two person share 1). Waited till the horn for the walk sounded to mark the commence.
Walked walked and walked non-stop for two hours(there about). The beginning, we were walking behind the new paper's photographer. Wonder if there's any shot that I'm in( I tried my best to hide away... didn't want to appear in the paper...Lol). So much for having such windy paths. Many were practically trying ways to find short cuts. Soon our path turned into muddy paths. Smell of dung? Sinking ground? What else?
Then the time we long waited for has finally arrived. The never ending path had ended and we made it through the finish. GOODIE BAGS!!! <- The first thing we wanted to get after crossing the finish. Got up the barrage there after. Hoped onto the free shuttle bus service back to suntec. Then got another goodie bag. Had branch and walked around... Got back to aunt's house.
Think about the walk, it was truly like the walk of faith that we as Christians encounter. Who was the one leading? Did that person walk the right path? We needed to trust the person right in front to lead us to the destination. Just like the Christian walk. We need to trust Jesus that He will lead us the right path, so that one day we will be able to meet God at the finish-heaven. And would the pathway to the finish be a straight one that seems so easy to walk, or would it be a windy and uneven roadway that we find it tough to get to the finish?
