LIFE WITHOUT JESUS IS LIKE A DONUT;
TASTY AROUND THE EDGES,
BUT NOTHING IN THE MIDDLE.
What is it like to have God in your life? Have you ever thought of that question?
To me, life with God is wonderful. God is always there beside me when I'm down, happy, in pain... the list goes on. But have you ever wondered if there was someone who is in the same shoe as you are? Who would that be? Mine is God. God knows what I am going through everyday. He is part of me. He may not be visible to our naked eyes, but we can feel His presence only if we have faith in Him.
Being His child, I want to trust fully in Him, just like Joshua. From Joshua 10:1-43, we learn that Joshua trusted in God fully. He gave off his best during the fight-he sent his whole troupe of army to the battle field. He had faith that God was on his side. They fought. But who was the one fighting? It was God. God was fighting for them. Why did He do that? God knows that Joshua had 100% trusted him, therefore God in return, fought the battle for him and his people. God sent hailstones that killed more than that killed by swords. He even stoped the Sun and Moon for a day, so that the enemies would believe how great God can be.
That was Joshua's fight of faith. Where's ours then? Do we leave everything to God when we do things? Do we trust that He has His own plans for us?
Sometimes we forget that He even exist. Other times, we make our own decisions, thinking that it's the best decision.
Fight Of Faith
here i am
at your feet
crying out to you
draw me near
hold me close
lord i wait on you
for you're my greatest love
you're my comforter and friend
you're the first
you're the last
you're my guiding light
i will run
i will soar
on eagles' wings
as i wait on you lord
my strength is restored
fix my eyes on you Jesus as i run this race
help me fight this fight of faith
